Dax Baumgartner created DaxMusic Productions in 1999 in Orlando, FL, and relocated his studio to the Seattle area in 2009. DMP is an audio production and music composition studio that has produced several hundred voiceover recordings and original music tracks for clients in radio, entertainment, multimedia, and education. Recently Dax arranged the music and composed backing tracks for Disney's The Power of Music, a live stage show at Tokyo Disneyland. Currently he's collaborating with a Seattle audio studio, producing the voiceover recording for a nationally known educational videogame series.

Prior to launching DMP, Dax toured the US, Europe and Canada for two years as a keyboardist with pop vocal group *NSYNC, also performing with the group on the Tonight Show, Rosie O'Donnell, Disney Channel, and several nationally televised music award shows.

Originally from Springfield, IL, Dax is a multi-instrumentalist and former solo performer, featured at midwest fairs, festivals, and also in many schools as a DARE musical spokesman. His national TV solo appearances included MMC/Disney Channel, Regis & Kathie Lee, CBS This Morning, and Nightwatch as well as solo TV appearances in Tokyo and Madrid.

Dax and his wife Melissa moved to the Seattle area in 2009. They share their home on Port Gamble Bay with two dogs and a cat. Dax enjoys the vibrant Puget Sound music composition scene and continues to provide creative digital music and audio services for national and international clients. Performing regionally with Soul Siren and the Tracie Marsh Band, Dax also teaches guitar and piano, and serves on the Board of Advisors for The Children's Music Foundation, Kirkland, WA.
